About Course

This course will give you a streamlined approach to address pelvic girdle pain, which includes sacroiliac pain. You will leave the course with an update on the current literature including special tests and their recommended utility, an anatomy review of the pelvic girdle and the important dynamics involved, and a novel simplified approach to treating this complex area. This approach, The Pelvic Girdle Musculoskeletal Method (PGM Method SM),was developed by Deborah B. Riczo, and has been taught to physical therapy professionals on an international level, first courses in 2011. This approach is the basis of both of her books, “Sacroiliac Pain,” and “Back & Pelvic Girdle Pain in Pregnancy & Postpartum. Both assessment and interventions of the PGM Method will be introduced, and you will be able to implement them on Monday morning. (Intermediate Level)
