Guide to Diaphragm Rehabilitation in Deconditioned Patients Aim to:
This CPD course is designed as a handy reference for everything a clinician needs to know about the diaphragm and be able to apply the next day in their clinical practice. This preparatory course explains important concepts of paradoxical breathing, the effects of mechanical ventilation and Ventilator-induced diaphragmatic dystrophy (VIDD). This respiratory CPD course comprises an evaluation of the diaphragm as a muscle rehabilitation throughout the course of patients' journey from ICU to return to spots. Hence, it is applicable to every setting and stage of recovery after chronic illness.
