Course description:

This advanced clinical course provides a comprehensive exploration of the pathophysiology underlying cervical pain, designed for healthcare professionals looking to deepen their diagnostic and management skills. By the end of this session, participants will move beyond traditional mechanical models to understand how specific cervical structures, such as discs and nerve roots, generate pain and radiating symptoms.

What you will learn:

• Learners will master the mapping of neural pathways, specifically the cervical and brachial plexuses, to confidently correlate anatomy with real-world clinical patterns like dermatomes, myotomes, and sensory changes.
• A core component of the course is distinguishing between tissue-driven pain and sensitization-driven pain, allowing clinicians to identify when peripheral or central sensitization is influencing patient presentations.

Course Objectives:

• The course culminates in the application of clinically relevant reasoning and management strategies. 
• Clinicians will learn to interpret patient presentations to identify nerve root involvement and select appropriate, safe interventions
