COPD Management Series Part 2: Promote Moving Well Techniques in the COPD Population by Maximizing Your Treatment Prescription

Mrs. Jones is a 72-year female with a 20-year history of smoking (she stopped 1 year ago),anxiety, and COPD. She was recently hospitalized because she had difficulty breathing and become extremely anxious.  The hospital report notes her pulse oximetry reading was as low as 84 and at discharge is 92 on room air. She currently has 2 inhalers which she is having difficulty using appropriately. She has a therapy referral because she has not returned to her prior level of function which was independent living in a small ranch home.
